Saucon Mutual Insurance Company was founded in 1832 in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania.

The Company, originally known as the Farmers Fire Insurance Company of Upper and Lower Saucon Townships, was formed because the Philadelphia insurance companies could not properly service the folks "up north" in Northampton and Lehigh Counties.

Today, Saucon Mutual Insurance Company is a highly capitalized, mutual insurance company with policyholders throughout the region. Our investments are well diversified and represent many industries.
