A Brief History
of Saucon Mutual Insurance Company
Saucon Mutual Insurance Company was
founded in 1832 in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania. The Company, originally
known as the Farmers Fire Insurance Company of Upper and Lower
Saucon Townships, was formed because the Philadelphia insurance
companies could not properly service the folks "up north" in
Northampton and Lehigh Counties.
